Visiting Gergety Trinity Church in Kazbegi – popular name for Holy Trinity Church near the village of Gergeti in Georgia. The church is situated on the right bank of the river Chkheri at an elevation of 2170 meters, under Mount Kazbegi and was built in the 14th century

Day 05 Borjomi – Vardzia – Rabati – Borjomi

o Vardzia is a cave monastery. The main period of construction was the second half of the twelfth century. The caves stretch along the cliff for some five hundred meters and in up to nineteen tiers.
o Rabati Castle is a fortress, originally established in the 9th century as the Lomisa Castle, it was completely rebuilt by Ottomans. Most of the surviving buildings date from the 17th and 18th centuries.
